Comme pr\u00e9vu par M\u00e9t\u00e9osuisse la journ\u00e9e est pluvieuse, donc l\u2019id\u00e9e est de faire une petite \u00e9tape jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve Carouge en profitant des accalmies pour avancer. Mais avant toute chose, nous avons bien profit\u00e9 du copieux buffet du petit-d\u00e9jeuner de l\u2019h\u00f4tel toujours avec une magnifique vue sur le lac L\u00e9man et les avions en phase d\u2019approche.<\/p>

\u00a0Apr\u00e8s avoir fait nos bagages et en attendant que la pluie s\u2019arr\u00eate, d\u00e8s 14h selon les pr\u00e9visions, nous nous installons dans le lobby et en profitons pour jouer au Babyfoot, lire une revue et planifier l\u2019\u00e9tape de lundi. Comme la m\u00e9t\u00e9o de lundi matin s\u2019annonce encore un peu humide, on temp\u00e8re nos ambitions et envisageons un d\u00e9part plut\u00f4t tardif. Une \u00e9tude de la carte, du guide et des courbes de niveau r\u00e9v\u00e8le n\u00e9anmoins qu\u2019il faut s\u2019attendre \u00e0 un d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 positif de 500 m avec une arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 800m d\u2019altitude en partant de Carouge situ\u00e9 \u00e0 400 m. \u00a0De plus question h\u00e9bergement les 2 \u00e9tapes suivantes sont un peu compliqu\u00e9es et comme le mardi s\u2019annonce beau autant faire un peu plus de kilom\u00e8tres ce jour-l\u00e0\u2026 on verra si cela se confirme et quel sera l\u2019\u00e9tat du Chemin une fois qu\u2019on aura franchi la fronti\u00e8re.<\/p>

Un caf\u00e9 gourmand plus tard et comme pr\u00e9vu\u00a0 \u00e0 14h la pluie cesse enfin, nous reprenons la v\u00e9loroute 1. Essentiellement, on parcours les faubourgs de Gen\u00e8ve jalonn\u00e9 \u00a0de luxueuses villas, \u00e9coles priv\u00e9es et institutions internationales tel que l\u2019OMC. Apr\u00e8s quelques photos devant le jet d\u2019eau et la cath\u00e9drale St-Pierre, nous entamons devant cette derni\u00e8re la Via Gebennensis direction Carouge avec un petit d\u00e9tour par le mur de R\u00e9formateurs situ\u00e9 dans le parc Des Bastions. Vers 16h apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9vit\u00e9 les SUV et les trams, nous arrivons \u00e0 l\u2019Auberge Communale de Carouge, qui sert depuis plus de 150 ans de relais pour les voyageurs. Ainsi il est facile de s\u2019imaginer en p\u00e8lerin d\u2019antan.<\/p>
